Check out my debut novel titled Toward the Light

Monique loved her home. When she looked up and saw Jeffery, she smiled. Jeff had a smooth, rich chocolate brown complexion. He wore a full beard that he kept cut close like his hair. His eyes were deep set, honey brown. His handsome facial features chiseled, with full lips. When he smiled, his teeth were sparkling white and perfectly straight. Jeff stood there with only a towel around his waist. The muscles in his trim body made him look incredibly sexy. “So…where are you off to?” he asked smiling.
“I’m going over to Tiffany’s for a few hours,” Monique answered.
“Is the matter with Tiff so pressing as to interrupt our lovemaking?” Jeff asked moving slowly towards Monique.
She sat her cup down thinking, “Well, maybe there is time for a quickie.”
Jeffery knelt in front of Monique. He opened her robe, admiring his wife’s golden brown voluptuous body. Monique was a full figured woman. She was five feet three inches tall and weighed 165 pounds. Because she worked out, her figure was curvaceous, but firm. He cupped both her breast in his hands, gently kissing each one. Monique closed her eyes and moaned. His hands left her breast and continued the exploration they had begun earlier. He took each of her feet in his hands, one at a time and massaged and kissed them. From there, he moved slowly up her legs until he reached her thighs. He parted them kissing the sensitive area of her inner thighs. Monique trembled and throbbed with excitement. Even though they had been married for nearly seven years, their lovemaking was still as thrilling as the first time. When Jeffery’s mouth reached her special place, she grabbed his shoulders and cried out his name. He stood to his feet and removed the towel from his waist. Lifting Monique to a standing position, he traded places with her sitting on the stool. He pulled her down onto his lap easing himself into her secret well that belonged only to him. Jeffery’s movements were at first subtle and then gradually increased in intensity, creating a symphony of pleasure within Monique that built into an earth shattering crescendo. When he felt the spasmodic tremors radiating from her center, he wrapped his arms tightly around her as they together exploded in ecstasy.

Sound off! Is it racism, ignorance or both?

New York Post apologizes for, yet still defends, chimp cartoon

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A day after publishing a cartoon that drew fire from critics who said it evoked historically racist images, the New York Post apologized in a statement on its Web site -- even as it def… Continue

Dear Steve Harvey

Dear Steve,

Firstly, congrats on making the New York Times Best Seller List with you new book "Act like a Lady, Think like a Man." Now, about that book. A very close girl-friend purchased your book for me as a gift and I must say, I'm really enjoying reading it but I am on the other hand somewhat putout by the content. Now, don't get me wrong your advice is solid and right-on but I find it almost impractical for my life and the lives of my single friends. You see the men you describe in your bo… Continue

Phenomenal Women

Hi family!

In honor of Black History Month, I would like to pay homage to the Phenomenal Women who are like fine wine. Yes, I'm speaking of women over the age of 50. Women who have paved their way, yet continue to strut their stuff! The go-to women of today because they are wise, business savvy, and don't mind reaching back to mentor those who care to learn. Some of these women may be familiar, some may not but it goes without saying, they are all Phenomenal Women in their own right!

Meet Dr.… Continue

OH WOW!!! I found that song for "A whispered silence in her ear" that inspired it. I was in a friends car, and her CD was playing, and it played that song! What are the odds! LOL It barely even was played, it was minimum volume, she said "You can hear that? That is good hearing." Mabye it was destiny, huh? :) You should really swing by and read it again. The song goes so well with it, it's like a marriage. I really think it is quite an experience to read the poem listening to the song. Let me know what you think :)
